Here we answer the most frequently asked questions about our services, inspection obligations and processes.
All companies, public institutions and independent operators of electrical systems and equipment are obliged to have their equipment inspected regularly – in accordance with DGUV Regulation 3.
The inspection intervals depend on the type of device and the location of use.
General guidelines:
Office equipment: every 2 years
Tools in workshops: every 12 months
Equipment on construction sites: every 3 months
Nursing beds & medical equipment: mostly annually
We will advise you individually on your inspection intervals.
Portable devices (e.g. PC, printer, tools)
Stationary equipment (e.g. machinery, air conditioning and heating technology)
Power generators, construction site power distribution boards, welding equipment
Residual current circuit breakers, PRCDs, nursing beds, medical devices
Main distributions & sub-distributions
Yes. You will receive a digital test report with all measurement results and recommendations. We also affix a test sticker with the next test date to each tested device.
Our specialists will come to your location – throughout Germany. Inspections can be conducted during normal business hours or outside of your normal business hours.
This depends on the number of devices.
A rough guideline: approximately 20–30 devices per hour per test technician.
We plan larger projects individually with you.
The costs depend on the number, type and location of the devices.
