DGUV V3 test report

What does a legally compliant test report contain?

After each test according to DGUV Regulation 3 you will receive a written test report, which serves as official proof of the security check carried out.
It documents in detail, which devices and systems were tested, with what results and whether measures are necessary.

What does the test report say?

A complete test report contains, among other things, the following information:
Device name & inventory number
Place of work & location
Inspection date & next inspection date
Examiner name & qualification
Applied standards (e.g. DIN VDE 0701-0702, VDE 0105-100)
Measured values (e.g. protective conductor resistance, insulation resistance, loop impedance)
Test result: passed / failed
Description of defects & recommended action (if required)

Additionally: Inspection stickers & overviews

In addition to the test report, you will receive:
Inspection stickers directly on the device or system
Collective overview all tested devices
PDF file for digital archiving
By request: Excel export or cloud-based transfer

What happens if there are defects?

Defects are clearly described in the report
Recommendations for repair or decommissioning
Possibility of Inspection after repair
Classification: critical / medium / low

Why is the test report important?

Legal certainty during official inspections
Obligation to provide evidence in the event of insurance claims
Protection against liability in the event of accidents or damage
transparency towards internal departments and QM systems (e.g. ISO 9001)
